![]() ![]() no worries, the future is friendly.Īutodesk stopped authorizing new installation of software 2010 and older as of August 2019: You are too late now. Looking at somwthing better now (win10, autocad 2016). Just checked, Autocad 2012 would not install on my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, 64bit, that was awhile ago 2012. If nothing else, I am hoping this spurs enough commentary that AutoDesk has a discussion with Windows and the next update fixes the issue of the 1709 update. So any solutions you might have I will not try till then, but I'm happy to try any solution anyone has! I just recently did a re-install, so my next one will probably be in a few weeks when Windows updates automatically. In the end, my only solution is to completely re-install windows (which means re-installing all my drivers and other programs including Cad.) I have had to do this three times now since I cannot turn off Windows Automatic Update. I've tried almost every solution from reverting to a previous windows version to veruninstalling the C++ libraries. And when I input the license information it closes Cad and after that every time I try and open it, Cad goes away, doesn't open just closes. My teacher has suggested that it might be because I have the home version of windows and since I saw no posts talking about this specifically I thought I'd ask directly.Īs we have seen in multiple posts, the Windows 10, Version 1709 Update messes with AutoCad.įor me, after the update when I open Cad it takes me back to the "License/Register" product dialog. ![]() I've tried all download/install methods several times and I still cannot figure out what is going wrong. I've been trying for a week to install it onto my newly bought PC but nothing seems to work. There is a picture that I took the macosx surface. So, the problem is that how can I change the macosx surface to windows'. I was using the program which is AutoCAD 2012 with my old computer that it was Windows. I have done it for Autocad 2014.Is there any way we can do this task workable not just for single version but for any version. In addition to this I have created dll for 2014 which worked fine.By altering the references acmgd.dll and acdbmgd.dll i got it worked on 2007 too.Is there any way except this to create a dll orking in all version. Thanks in advance. I am currently creating a windows form application that needs to open autocad. The question is if I put my pc dwg files on a USB can I be able to view and edit these on my mac or do I need some software to convert windows dwg to mac dwg. I am making the transition to A MacBook Pro with a mac version of auto cad LT. ![]() I am a pc user an have auto cad Lt 2006 with created dwg files. If I create files through the MAC version can those be easily opened in a pc version of autocad and updated, modified, etc.? I do not want to have to buy a pc if possible. I was going to download the free month to see how it goes. I am planning to learn autocad but use a mac. For anyone with a similar experience, what is the best way to run a windows based program on a Mac? I am looking for optimum efficiency and lowest price. The above questions are not possible to do. How different from the windows version is the Mac version? My teacher replied with the statement "I will be teaching the Windows version, so you will be required to use that." Are they exceptionally different from each other? Even if they are, will it be possible for me to figure things out? I have moderate experience with AutoCAD 2010 for Windows.Īutocad 2004 64 bit windows 7 crack versionģ. Now that I'm starting AutoCAD, I'm being told that I'll be required to purchase Bootcamp or Parallels, and use the windows version, rather than the mac version. Part of the reason I even bought a new Macbook Pro was because of the new support for Mac across the programs required by my University's college. ![]() My question is simliar but not completely the same I am taking an AutoCAD class and will be using it reguarly in my major discipline. I just read a recent post where someone asked if it is possible to change the interface for AutoCAD Mac to look more similar to that of AutoCAD windows, and it was replied to that that is not possible. ![]()
